Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Start your day with breakfast before embarking on a thrilling full-day safari at Tarangire National Park, accompanied by picnic lunches.

Afterward, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Ngorongoro Marera View Lodge.

Tarangire National Park is renowned for its vast herds of elephants, which gather near the dry riverbed in search of water.

Here, you'll also encounter a variety of other wildlife including wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest, and eland.

The park boasts an impressive concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem, making it a paradise for predators. It's also a habitat for unique dry-country antelope like the fringe-eared oryx and the long-necked gerenuk. During the dry season, Tarangire is a vital refuge for migratory animals, offering a diverse and welcoming environment for various species."

Day 3: Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you'll journey through the fertile highlands where the Iraqw people grow wheat, coffee, and corn. Along the way, you'll traverse the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the stunning Ngorongoro Caldera, formed millions of years ago by a volcanic eruption.

You'll marvel at the vastness of the caldera before continuing your trip to Serengeti National Park. 'Serengeti' means 'endless plain' in the Maasai language, Maa. By late evening, you'll arrive at Serengeti, the largest park in Tanzania, boasting diverse landscapes such as plains, swamps, lakes, savannahs, and mountains.

Here, you'll witness the remarkable wildebeest and zebra migration, with thousands of animals searching for food and water depending on the season. After an exhilarating game drive, you'll head to Heritage Tented Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay."

Day 4: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

After an early coffee, you will head out for a game drive in the Serengeti. You might be able to spot the “Big Five”—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard—before embarking on your journey to the Ngorongoro Crater.

The animals roam freely through the unfenced reserves, offering you an uninterrupted game-viewing experience.

Arriving at the edge of the crater, you will have your first glimpse of what awaits you the following day—glistening streams, open grassland and an infinite amount of animals. You will spend the night at Rhino lodge directly on the crater’s edge with the orange glow of sunset surrounding you as you drift off to sleep.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Crater tour and later back to Arusha.

Following a satisfying breakfast, you'll embark on a thrilling journey down the rugged track into the crater. This UNESCO World Heritage Site, dubbed one of the Seven Wonders of Africa, boasts an extraordinary ecosystem formed millions of years ago by a volcanic eruption.

Plunging 610 meters deep and spanning approximately 260 square kilometers, the crater is home to a dense population of around 25,000 animals, offering unparalleled game viewing opportunities in Tanzania.

Within moments, you'll encounter wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and over 500 bird species. If luck is on your side, you might even catch a glimpse of the endangered black rhino amidst the grasslands. After lunch, you'll ascend the crater's steep walls and journey to Arusha for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Arusha to Kilimanjaro Airport

You'll be dropped off at Arusha, Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha Airport.
